🌸 Our Story – How Droll Pics Was Born

Every idea has a seed β€” for Droll Pics, that seed was a flower. Long before building an app, I spent my time giving away flowers on the streets. What began as a personal gesture of kindness grew into 31 May – Flower’s Day, a celebration of positivity, love, hope, peace, and friendship. It was about reminding people that small acts can create big connections.

From this movement, I created Shades of Romeo, first as a fashion brand. I designed and gave away hundreds of clothing pieces, always guided by the belief that creativity should be shared. But while I enjoyed the process, I soon realized something important: fashion was limited, while social media had the power to reach millions. Financially and creatively, I saw greater possibilities in a platform that could connect people globally, not just through clothing, but through stories.

That vision evolved into Droll Pics, a new kind of photo app. I wanted to create a system where every user could turn creativity into opportunity. Anyone with a phone on the street should not only capture a moment but also have the chance to earn money with it.

To make this possible, I introduced a pay-per-view system. With a 3-photo story, curiosity drives engagement: the first two photos are free, but the final one unlocks with credits. Each unlock supports the creator, turning storytelling into real rewards. In the future, I plan to expand this with a fixed-price option, where users can set how many credits their photos are worth β€” giving even more control and flexibility.

Droll Pics was born from kindness, flowers, and creativity. Today, it is a platform built on truth, opportunity, and imagination β€” where anyone can transform selfies into stories, and stories into success.
